The start of this site!
Just a brief description: This site is started because we believe our shuttlers have improve tremendously and we want to congratulate them!
We have our lovely duo of Jiang Yanmei/Li Yujia who has done us proud countless times, as well as the "unique" pair of Li Yujia/Hendri Saputra who has went into many semi-finals in year 2004 and entering the finals of the China Masters last year.
Our singles players, Li Li and 16-year-old Xing Aiying, are also one of the top women shuttlers in South East Asia.
This is the first post to complement the first competition our shuttlers competed in year 2006- Uber/Thomas Cup qualifications held in India.
For Uber Cup, Singapore is placed in Group Z, alongside Hong Kong, Thailand, Pakistan and India.
Uber CupOur girls defeated Pakistan 5-0 early in the morning but lost to Hong Kong 2-3 at night.
We do not have detailed results for the tie between Singapore and Pakistan, but here's the match summary between Singapore and Hong Kong. No scores though.

Xing Aiying lost to
Yip Pui Yin.
Jiang Yanmei defeated Wong Sin Yee.
Jiang Yanmei/Li Yujia defeated Louis Koon Wai Chee/Li Wing Mui.Xing Aiying/Shinta Mulya lost to

We lost to India 1-4 and to Hong Kong 2-3 with points coming mainly from the doubles pairing of Hendra Wijiaya/Hendri Saputra.
This places us at the very bottom of the group and we will thus be confirmed out of the Thomas Cup qualification.
